In order to enable the growth of the Italian branch, aims are precise and well targeted: Giuliano Collodel (in the photo), who as from last September is the managing director of Turck Banner Italia, met the trade press on February 27th to describe his relaunch plan, which is based on three focal points, that is, new visibility, investments and customer care. In order to achieve this Collodel (who accrued a long managerial experience within automation companies, the latest being in Cognex Corporation where he worked as Regional Sales Manager) already began changing the company’s organization, in agreement with the global Board of Directors. Starting from persons: “I found young co-workers, very capable and already experienced. They will succeed in transmitting values and knowledge to the new resources, cooperating in the construction of a renewed industrial reality”, Turck Banner Italia’s new MD stated. One of the first steps will be the strengthening of the internal sales force, to improve a sales activity which in the past was for the best part entrusted to agents. Of course, agents will still work along with Turck Banner Italia but with a role which will be more of a support. The main objective which Giuliano Collodel set is to double revenues within 36 months.
